2026 PULSE Virtual Public Safety Innovation Forum

This isn't continuing education for its own sake. The topics covered in the IPICD PULSE Public Safety Innovation Forum directly correspond to the incidents that end careers, trigger federal investigations, and make national news. The landscape of public safety is changing faster than ever — and YOU and your agency need to be ready.

The 2026 IPICD Virtual Pulse Forum is structured across four, four-hour modular sessions, each dedicated to a critical domain of contemporary law enforcement practice. All sessions will be  recorded and available to PULSE Forum graduates through December 31, 2026. (Individual sessions can be enrolled in separately.)

Daily: A new product demonstration of emerging public safety technology.

Session 1: SafeWrap Restraint and Research Findings (alternative to prone restraint and its dangers)

Session 2: Legal and Scientific Updates including the legal landmines of AI-generated incident reports —   capabilities, limitations, and legal risk; G.L.O.V.E. scientific research findings.

Session 3: Human Factors Incident Awareness Certification (How human factors often impact force incident analysis and awareness, including causation).

Session 4: Enhancing Training with Technology (includes exclusive IPICD Lesson Plan Generator and technology-assisted animation video for academy and in-service training.

Session Topics and Presenters

As you can see, the PULSE: Public Safety Innovation Forum, is a cutting-edge virtual event built for law enforcement officers and agency leaders who refuse to fall behind. No travel. No hotel costs. No per diem costs. Just the most relevant training, technology, and legal updates delivered directly to your screen. This forum exists because the gap between what departments train and what officers encounter in the field has consequences — for the public, for officers, and for the institutions they serve.
