Criteria for Hosting IPICD Programs

The Institute for the Prevention of In-Custody Deaths, Inc. (IPICD) is known for its affordable, high-quality, and comprehensive training programs prompting many budget-conscious agency administrators to inquire about how to host an IPICD program. Here are the criteria for hosting an IPICD program:

1. The Host agency must have or obtain a classroom or auditorium large enough to hold between 50 and 100 people at no cost to the IPICD. The classroom or auditorium must have desks or tables, with seats, so each participant can safely and comfortably take notes in his or her IPICD workbook and other training materials.

2. The Host agency must provide a digital video projector (DVP) or its equivalent, that will project PowerPoint&reg slides and digital video.

3.The Host agency must provide a computer (Windows 98 or XP compatible) with CD capability and PowerPoint&reg software for the displaying of PowerPoint® slides.

4. The Host agency agrees to assist the IPICD in the promotion of the program(s).

5. The Host agency must provide at least 3 dates to the IPICD staff so that a mutual date(s) can be selected. The selected date(s) should be at least 90 days forward to permit reasonable promotion of the program(s).

6. The Host agency receives 2 complimentary seats in the program(s).

If your agency can meet these criteria, please contact the IPICD with proposed date(s) and program(s).
